Dee Ahearn is the Chief Executive Officer of Barretstown, Ireland’s leading provider of medically endorsed therapeutic camps and programmes for children affected by cancer and other serious illnesses.
She assumed the CEO role in 2010 and under her leadership, Barretstown has expanded its reach, growing services by more than 1,000%, broadening its support to multiple illness groups, and investing heavily.
Dee oversees a team of around 80 employees and more than 1,400 volunteers annually, and she leads the organisation in meeting ambitious fundraising goals.
